Angel Ghost
I knew an angel once,
She stole my heart,
From five thousand miles away,
And so I die a little,
With each passing moment,
As that distant part of me,
Beats on, apart,
And its emotive thought,
Rends my soul immobile.
Incoherent echoes,
As my pulse grows ever weaker,
Lost without the touch,
Of my angel-ghost.
