So, as i've probably mentioned atleast once, my head's not exactly been great... actually, its been a bit of a wreck, for about the past 6 months or so... but it does seem to be getting better... maybe its the warmer weather or the occasional sunny days, or maybe this session of depression has just run its course at last, I don't know... but I seem to be a bit perkier.

And now I have to try and sort out the stuff i've been neglecting... like housework, charity website updates, etc.... and I seem to have put on a couple of stone too... that'll be the impact of the whole chocolate hug-in-a-bar effect... coupled with not working (cos my job was fairly physical... lots of climbing, walking, hitting stuff, lifting stuff, undoing and doing up stuff, digging, etc)... my actual diet (rather than my rather abysmal comfort-eating snack regime) hasn't been all that bad... maybe not quite up to the whole "3 square meals" thing, but not pure crap by any means... although i have been missing meals and filling in the gaps with toast quite a lot.... So i'm now the heaviest i've ever been at about 13st (185lb/85kg) and i really don't like it... definitely not something I want to be saying in a month's time... this has got to change...

So the plan now is to get the house clean and tidy... a sightly belated spring clean i guess, to stop eating chocolate, to try and sort the garden out a bit and to generally try to get a bit more exercise of one sort or another in... oh, and to eat meals rather than doing the I Can't Be Bothered thing...

And I guess we'll see how it goes.

In other news, this time last week I wasn't going to the Glastonbury Festival, this week I am! -!yay!- -bounce-

And in other-other news, most of the bank holiday weekend was wet and windy... yeah, anyone living in the UK probably figured that out... but we had a charity thing at the Crick Boatshow in the Kids@Crick bit... we had various inflatables (the Coral Reef, Merlin and the Earth Dragon) up, as well as the new creation, Merlin's Amazing Waterway (or something like that), which is a 23ft long double-sided frieze/collage thing, with a pristine waterway on one side and a polluted waterway on the other... its really rather cool... but inflatables and wet, windy weather don't really mix, and the Waterway really couldn't get wet or it would spoil...

It actually was a fairly fun weekend... I enjoyed myself, regardless of the weather... not that the boats interest me particularly... i'm not convinced about the whole canal-boat thing... i can't imagine that you can exactly see a great deal travelling by barge; canals tend to run through cuttings or be bordered by hedgerows... I kinda like to see the countryside I'm travelling through... I can see the appeal of the boat's themselves; its like the caravanning thing... your own little world that you pick up and take with you, a bit like a snail-shell... but -shrug-
